Portrait and Oral History has displayed at the B.B. King Museum with the H.C. Porter Homecoming Exhibit and at the National Blues Museum in Saint Louis, MO.
*Jesse Robinson is the Front Man for the BB King Blues Band.

Jesse Robinson has a long and rich history as a professional musician. The JesseRobinson Band opened for B.B. King at the Gala for the BB King Museum opening.
Jesse has performed for the Mississippi Picnic in New York City Central Park.  He has performed internationally, and nationally.  

Jesse is noted on five of the Mississippi Blues Trail Markers. He is on the Mississippi Blues Trail Marker at the site of the Subway Lounge Marker, Jackson, MS; the Cassandra Wilson Marker, Jackson, MS; The Gold Coast Marker, Jackson, MS; the Holmes County Blues Marker, Tchula, MS; and The Queen of Hearts Marker in Jackson, MS. Jesse at one time was the band leader for Little Milton and at another time for Bobby Rush. Jesse spent some time in Chicago where he sat in with blues greats such as Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Freddie King and Magic Sam. For
many years Jesse’s band played seven nights a week at the Avalon Court on Highway 49 and later he hosted the Blue Mondays at Dorsey’s bringing guests Z.Z. Hill and others.

Jesse continues to perform as a solo act as well as with Jesse Robinson and the 500 Pounds of Blues Band.
