Ron and Carol Marble

Mississippi Delta Blues Inc.

We work to document blues music as it has been performed in juke joints throughout the Mississippi Delta.

Since 2004 we’ve been influential in promoting blues musicians and booking them into clubs and festivals nationally and internationally.

The first musician we worked with was David Lee Durham.

David Lee Durham - never attended school. He could pick 400 pounds of cotton by the age of thirteen. Durham was a self-taught musician. He rigged wire to wall to have some strings to pluck. He was given his first guitar, bought from Sears. He begin to perform around the Delta and eventually he opened for B.B. King at historic Club Ebony in Indianola, MS. He produced an Album and traveled to Lucerne Blues Festival in Switzerland before his repose. (Rip 2008)  We have been honored to work with many outstanding Blues Musicians since 2004.

We have released several albums for the musicians we work with. We have been involved in the recording process in a consulting role and promoting the albums to radio and media sites.
