Mississippi Delta Blues, Inc. is a cutting-edge artistic development company owned by Ron and Carol Marble. In 2004 Carol Marble and Ron Marble started Mississippi Delta Blues Inc. Carol and Ron’s mission was and continues to be one of helping the musicians achieve their goals and documenting the musician’s body of work. Ron and Carol provide their handpicked musicians with personal and forward-thinking services: Management, Promotion, Booking, and Record Label Services. Ron Marble – Profile: Ron Marble is a graduate of Millsaps Collage and has a MA degree from Mississippi College. He is a native of Jackson, MS. Ron Marble joined Mississippi Delta Blues, Inc. and Mississippi Delta Records in a full time capacity in 2011 after his retirement from a successful career in the corporate world as a Director of Operations and Plant Manager for companies in the food industry located in the United States and in the Caribbean. Ron and Carol lived and worked in California, Florida, North Carolina, The Bahamas and Jamaica while at the same time maintaining a home base in Mississippi with fifteen years in the Mississippi Delta. Ron Marble is a Founding Member of both the Mississippi Delta Blues Society of Indianola and the Central Mississippi Blues Society. He is a member of the Blues Foundation.
Carol Marble - Profile: Carol Marble is a graduate of Belhaven University in Jackson, MS and a native of Jackson, MS. She is the President and owner of Mississippi Delta Blues, Inc. and the President and owner of Mississippi Delta Records. A Voting Member of the Recording Academy, owner of Mississippi Delta Publishing RCMMS, a member of BMI as a Composer/Author; and she is a writer for Big City Rhythm & Blues Magazine. Carol Marble is the note writer for eight albums, the cover photographer for three, and the contributing Photographer for four albums. She is a co-writer with Jimmi Mayes on five of his songs on his album My Whole Life’s A Shuffle.
Carol Marble is a member of The Blues Foundation and the Recording Academy and supports the work of Blues Societies. In 2003 she became the Founder and First President of The Mississippi Delta Blues Society of Indianola and shortly afterward a Founding Member and First President of the Central Mississippi Blues Society of Jackson, MS.
Mississippi Delta Records: Eight albums have been released through the company record label.
Of note - The first album “Struggling and Straining” by David Lee Durham was recorded by the B.B. King Recording studio as well as the most recent “My Whole Life’s A Shuffle” by Jimmi Mayes with Dr. Alphonso Sanders as Producer on both.
The Clarksdale Sessions was recorded and produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Gary Vincent in his studio The Clarksdale Soundstage.
God’s Love Lifted Me Higher was recorded at Bates Brothers Recording Studio in Hueytown, Alabama. All other albums were recorded in Mississippi recording studios. Carol and Ron Marble have acted as Executive Producers on several albums.

Carol and Ron have had the honor of representing several musicians of “Legendary Status” who are noted on MS Highway Blues Markers; have been inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame; have been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, have been honored by the Jus Blues Foundation, who have been on the covers of Major Blues Magazines; and who are featured performers in festivals nationally and internationally; Johnny Drummer, Jimmi Mayes, Roscoe Robinson, Bill HowlNMadd Perry, Mickey Rogers and (RIP) Cash McCall just to name a few. Musician Consultation: Copyright Registration, BMI, and Sound Exchange applications filed for musicians. All technical work involved in getting a CD produced and marketed from recording studio selection to radio promotion has been part of the work of Mississippi Delta Blues, Inc and Mississippi Delta Records. This varies depending on the needs of the artist.
Grant Applications: Applications for Musician Grants submitted to the Mississippi Arts Commission have resulted in Musicians being awarded Grants for professional development. Application for Individual Musicians submitted to the Mississippi Arts Commission has resulted in each musician being accepted to the Mississippi Artist Roster.
Promotion: Appointments have been arranged for artists to be interviewed on Radio Stations, Television shows, and with journalists for international magazines and film crews documenting the blues.
EPK Kits: EPKs have been developed for musicians and sent to possible booking agents and promoters.
Websites: Websites have been created and maintained for several musicians. Individual Websites, Reverbnation, & CD Baby have been created and maintained for musicians.
