Ron and Carol Marble

Mississippi Delta Blues Inc.

Mississippi Delta Records

Carol Marble began her work in the music industry in the Mississippi Delta and has been working in the field for 20 years. She accompanied the bands and musicians she represented to  Juke Joints, Night Clubs, Festivals, and Entertainment venues throughout the Mississippi Delta, Mississippi, across the United States, Canada, and Europe. She became experienced in representing the musicians in working out “the best deal possible for them.” She accompanied them to recording studios and watched over the creation of their works from the beginning until they had their music into the global marketplace. She worked to secure grants for many and financial aid for some as needed. She is an advocate for the musician.

Carol Marble is a Voting Member in the Recording Academy, a Member of the Blues Foundation, The Central Mississippi Blues Society and The MS Delta Blues Society of Indianola.

Carol Marble was a Founder of the Mississippi Delta Blues Society of Indianola and a Founder of the Central Mississippi Blues Society. She became the 1st President of the Mississippi Delta Blues Society of Indianola and the 1st President of the Central Mississippi Blues Society

She is a Note Writer for Albums, a Writer for Big City Rhythm and Blues Magazine, and is a Freelance Researcher on Blues Related Topics.

Most Mississippi Delta Inc. roster members are noted on Mississippi Blues Markers. Some have been been Inducted into The Chicago Blues Hall of Fame, Honored by The Jus Blues Foundation or Inducted into the American Quartet Hall Of Fame. Many have career histories of being with Mo-Town, Chess Records, and some have performed with groups such as the Blind Boys of Alabama, Jimmi Hendrix and more! All have created their own original music.

Notable Legendary Roster members have included Cash McCall, Roscoe Robinson, and The Amazing Jimmi Mayes; also Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry who is featured in Documentaries, Movies and Magazine. Honors from the Jus Blues Foundation includes Mickey Rogers. The first recording from the BB King Recording Studio was from David Lee Durham. Roster member Johnny Drummer was recognized by the City of Chicago for his contribution to Chicago music.

Ron Marble retired from the Corporate world and joined Carol in her work of promoting musicians. He is her chief advisor and works with marketing and promotion of the CDs released. He is a founder of the Mississippi Blues Society of Indianola and a founder of the Central Mississippi Blues Society and a member of the Blues Foundation. He is one of the chief “roadies” travelling with the bands, selling merchandise, and lugging equipment to the stage and making sure nothing is left behind on stage or at the hotel. Having a "musical ear" from listening to hundreds of CD's he is the "go to" person by musicians for previewing a cd before it is mixed and mastered and offering valuable feedback.
